“BrandScan” is the internal name for this job. On the public site we call it a brand audit, because that is the query, and because BrandScanAI already sells a different product (whether ChatGPT mentions you). Do not mix the two.
You paste a URL. We crawl the public pages we can reach, read the obvious schema, and ask the model for positioning, USPs, tone, and a few audience slices. Output is a brief plus ad variants you can send to Ad Studio.
What you get back
- One-line positioning, in their language, not ours
- USPs the site actually claims, not ones we invented
- Voice notes (formal, punchy, technical) with examples
- Three audience segments with a reason each exists
- Ad variants for Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and X
Typical runtime is under two minutes. Re-run later to see if the public site drifted. That is useful after a rebrand, a new landing page, or a client who “updated the homepage” without telling you.
Sales scan vs monthly retainers
Agencies use the first scan on a prospect URL before the pitch. The PDF can go out white-label on paid plans. Inside a retainer, the same scan sits next to the SEO audit so ads and on-page work off the same brief.
Limits
JavaScript-heavy sites may under-extract. Passworded product apps will not. We do not log into the client’s CMS. If the public site is a three-page brochure, the brief will be thin. That is a finding, not a bug.
We also do not score “share of ChatGPT.” If you need that, use a GEO mention tool. This page is for the brief your media team actually writes from.
Pricing
Business: 15 scans a month. Pro and Agency raise the cap. Same pricing grid as the rest of the workspace.
